ABOUT THE MULTI-ENGINE RATING

A Multi-Engine Land (MEL) rating allows a pilot to operate as pilot-in-command of an aircraft with more than one engine and is a necessity for any pilot pursuing a career as a professional pilot as it enables pilots to fly larger, more complex aircraft. The MEL rating provides the knowledge base and skills necessary to safely and effectively control a multiple-engine aircraft with a retractable gear. Nexgen's accelerated 12-Hour multi-engine rating program adds multi-engine privileges to existing private and commercial ratings.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

This Course Includes:

All required Multi-Engine Airman Certification Standards for ground and flight instruction
(3.0) hours instruction in the DA42 FMX full-motion simulator
(12) hours instruction in the DA42, which includes the checkride rental.
Total Price: $6,030.00

Price excludes examiners fee of $800 typically. Students requiring additional hours are billed hourly at $475 for the DA42 and $170 for the simulator. The ATP Ready Multi-Engine Add-On requires 25 Hours and is typically $11,705.00.
